KATHMANDU – Himalayan Bullion Company Limited has announced financial assistance of NPR 2.1 million to support the ongoing search, rescue, and relief operations for citizens affected by the recent devastating floods and landslides in Rasuwa.
On behalf of the company, Business man Rakesh Adukia announced that the NPR 2.1 million donation will be deposited directly into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund. As per an official statement issued by the company, the financial aid will be deposited directly into the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to ensure systematic and swift distribution to the affected regions.
Expressing deep sorrow over the massive loss of life and property caused by the natural disaster, the company extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and paid tribute to those who lost their lives. The company also wished for the speedy recovery of all citizens injured in the calamity.
"In this hour of national crisis, we remain firmly committed to doing everything within our capacity to aid our citizens," the company stated. "This contribution is part of our responsibility to support immediate rescue and relief efforts on the ground."
Local authorities hope that such corporate contributions will help accelerate recovery efforts in the severely impacted areas of Rasuwa, where infrastructure and livelihoods have been heavily damaged by the floods.
